(nothing to do with this post, whatsoever).

I've been sick for an entire week. Missed out on seeing the Adam Corolla movie last night, missed out on doing a lot of crap. As a pawn in God's warped plan, I've also worked more hours this week than usual (late nights, early mornings). Under the haze of a DayQuil bender, I've somehow kicked ass all week. Not a problem has been thrown at me that I haven't just conquered.

I will, however, likely miss a deadline for a customer next week. Not my fault, but I wouldn't be able to say that to them. Not looking forward to that meeting.

Working both days this weekend. Mellow jobs, but I need to rest. Being sick and staying home would be the perfect opportunity to enjoy the new TV in the bedroom, but I only watch as much as the NyQuil will let me. Between the DayQuil and NyQuil, I'm guessing my prostate is the size of a grapefruit at this point.

Haven't shaved in three days. Gonna do that now.

goochout.

wow, what a shitty post.

... And to all you geeks out there, I am aware that the cables on both TVs need to be shored up... that dangling wire situation is temporary. - G

The adapter bracket finally came and the week and a half long project of putting a new LCD TV on my bedroom wall has come to life. It's sort of overkill, and even though it's pretty cool, probably could have done without.

On the other hand, it's sweet. And... it gives girls (or me, in some cases) something to watch during sex.

The home pics at the top of this post are, from left to right: new TV in the bedroom, Missy the Cat, her new 78" tall climbing structure.

It's about fucking time: Justice Department Okays Sirius-XM Merger

What a ridiculous length of time it took just to get this far. They still need FCC approval, which is ironic because the ineptitude and inconsistencies in the operation of the FCC are what led to Satellite radio's birth.

I have a dream that one day i'll be able to listen to Howard Stern (on Sirius, which I currently rock), and Dr. Laura Schlessinger (on 1190KEX from 1 to 4 and XM) on the same satellite radio box.

Some friends of mine and I determined that the Carpenters were the White Stripes of the seventies. I'm currently listening to a Carpenters' rendition of "Angel in the Morning" which was preceded by "Superstar," which was preceded by the Sonic Youth version of "Superstar," found on the "Juno" soundtrack.

My music selection should indicate two things to you: Number one, I'm a complete fag. Number two, I'm back on Limewire. I'm peer to peering in ways I said I never would do again. I've been uninstalling Limewire off clients' computers for years now. Do as I say, not as I do. I'm like a coke head in the midst of a relapse. Just, with better conversation.

I made Easter breakfast for my Mom today. French toast, O'Brien hash browns, ham steaks, and apple topping for the toast. Surprisingly, it was very good. Surprisingly, because I had no idea before yesterday that french toast was just bread dipped in eggs. I mean, who though of that? Was it like the Reese's commercial: You got your egg on my toast... you got your toast in my egg? And... on a side note: who the fuck came up with mayonaisse? How does something like that get invented?

Watching TV, thinking about going to the gym. Thinking harder about taking a nap.

gooch out.

Happy Easter.
