The police in Portland, Oregon (my home town) have been under close scrutiny after two shootings within a couple of months of each other. In both cases, black unarmed motorists have been shot during traffic stops by white cops. In both cases, I'm suspect of the actions of the motorists as they both were on cocaine and didn't obey orders from the police before they were shot. We have protesters in Downtown Portland screaming for justice, but I hope they don't think that the Portland Police are simply racist; they'll beat the shit out of anyone:
