Are you tired of Internet Explorer 7 only allowing you to download two porno movies (or anything else, I guess) off of a site at any time? You can increase the number of simultaneous downloads with a couple of registry hacks.
Warning: Modifying the registry of your Windows PC is really safe and should be done by anyone.
Click START, then RUN, then type REGEDIT and click OK. Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
Right click in the empty space, and create a new DWord value by choosing New/DWord Value .
Name it: MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server (The 0 beside Server is a zero)
Double click this entry and modify the value to 3. (Substitute 3 for the preferred maximum number of downloads)
Create another DWord: MaxConnectionsPerServer
Once again, double click this entry and modify the value to 3. (Again, substitute the three for the preferred maximum number of downloads).
If you have Internet Explorer open, just restart it and you should be able to have more simultaneous downloads running.
